Vital Vida Vendors is a radical retail platform founded by Ana Garcia: a chingona inmigrante Mexicana and unapologetic truth teller. 

I have spent the majority of my professional life as an educator, but recently started my new journey as entrepreneur. After over a decade in higher education witnessing systems that exploit and exhaust, I am building this business to reclaim my creative voice, uplift community power, and redistribute visibility and resources to artists and activists whose labor fuels our collective liberation. 

I am based in Southern California (on unceded Chumash land), and run Vital Vida Vendors alongside my partner and our two rescue pitties. Every design, every new drop, and every decision is made with intention of centering culture, resistance, and joy.

This space also shares vetted recommendations for people-powered products Ana personally uses- from small businesses that strive for safety, sustainability, and social impact. We believe there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism, but we still do our best to move money toward companies aligned with care, dignity, and the common good.

This isn’t just a shop. It’s a channel for creativity, resistance, and collective reimagining.
